Alfaland with its technology partner and customer Terberg Noatum have carried out a comparison test between a tractor fuel port with liquefied natural gas, LNG, and another equipped with the latest peer technology diesel.
A tractor-powered port LNG port terminals consumes up to 15% less energy than a diesel vehicle. So says the Greencranes European project that aims to reduce peer emissions of greenhouse gases in the container terminals.
