As the World Polio Day is fast approaching, now is the ideal medium for your club or district planning media to raise awareness and support for Rotary in polio eradication time. Check out the new Facebook page, Awakening across the continent Polio 2011, developed by Rotarians in District 7040 (parts of Ontario, Nunavut, and Quebec, Canada, doors and parts of New York, USA). The page, which explains that polio still exists and shows how Rotarians are leading the charge to eradicate it, including resources such as press releases and statements sample and a sample letter of opinion, and also a place for Rotarians doors to share their ideas.
Since all districts submitted a grant application PR 2011-12. The team of public image of Rotary doors has received many excellent applications that take into account each carefully. If any items are missing from your application, you will be contacted shortly. Districts who submitted applications by fast receive notification of approval or denial thereof to mid-October, all others will be notified via e-mail in mid-November.
