Costa Rica roots, the Corpse Garden sid combines death metalliinsa technical elements, fascination and brutality rather interesting way. Still relatively unknown to the world at large is the band's forthcoming second full-length album, "Entheogen". Kaaoszine interviewed guitarist Federico Gutiérrez via e-mail to inquire about more of today's news of the band.
Corpse Garden is a death metal band from Costa Rica, Central America. The band was founded in 2008, and we are so far recorded any two albums. The debut of "Burnt by the Light" was released in 2012 and recorded just a new album "Entheogen", which is published by the Russian Satanath Records.
We actually switched to the album name, the new name is "Entheogen". Another band released an album called "ecdysis" last year, so we thought that it is better to change the name yet, when given the opportunity. Album will be released in a few months in the Satanath Records.
"Entheogen" is very different compared to the debut. I believe that the first disk in doing we did not know what so musically sid we wanted. We were even more excited about going to the studio sid and we tried to play a little bit, what comes to mind. This new albumistamme we wanted sid to do something special. We wanted to make our own music, our own terms and at their own tyylillämme or at least try to develop one. So I would say that the new album is ripe, and the kinds of music because we focused sid more to do. Stylistically the album is some kind of atmospheric / psychedelic death metal the old covenant in which we are so to speak, tried to throw myself away from your comfort zone.
There are so many that the list should be endless! sid But some spring to mind are the future Morbid Angel, Neurosis, Suffocation, Obituary, Deathspell sid Omega, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, King Crimson, Genesis, sid Pink Floyd ... realized sid the note!
Everything that comes from souls out. I want to believe that music is a kind of catharsis, so any tunnetkin, it affects your music consciously or unconsciously. These emotional states sid are trying to build our music.
We are aware that people in Central America not as a predilection for metal music than perhaps elsewhere in the world, sid but it is really amusing to see how a lot of great bands here comes! Specifically, Costa Rica will be a number sid of bands, such as Nostoc, Insepulto, Paganus Doctrina, Advent Of Bedlam, Grecco, Heresy, Prockq, Inhuman, Alastor SE, Morbid Funeral and Time's Forgotten. sid
It's not easy! When both people and the government's position is that the local music supported in any way, things are going to be difficult. Especially when you consider that we are, however, a third world country and playing sid music on your paid nothing at all. Of course, we sell some shirts, and CDs, but let's not get them much income. sid Leaving on tour is very difficult, sid because sid here there is no infrastructure or people who would be willing to trust you and to take the risk ... So it is very hard to build a reputation and get the world to recognize that we have the bands here. All one has to pay his own pocket, Costa Rica, each band is independent.
But all the hard work that bands have to do here is also instructive: Hard work followed by a great music and I think that we just need to cope with small steps to move on, to change people's attitudes to good music and hard work. Maybe one day we still have a strong and supportive metalliskene as Costa Rica as the whole question of Central America.

I do not really know how to answer this. I do not want to sound like an ostentatious motherfucker I do not think that music can retrace to "sell". sid Or whether Corpse Garden with be anything big reason why people should listen to us? Every band is different, and no one can say that we have this and that.
