STEP 2: Cut out the letters from the felt. The easiest way? If you ask me, this is what those

It certainly is also where you roll in corners couple pieces of felt, they can be useful to use - this time for the letters, which will be happy to toddlers playing around - often much earlier than they would be attributed according to their age and our expectations regarding literacy ;) Let me suggest a simple windows rt way to get to the soft LETTERS Felt and simple based. Towards the end of the publication I added concrete illustrated directions that will help you in choosing the most suitable thickness of felt for them. See - and if your child any of this comes in handy, I'll be happy!
Much time has passed since I prepared TOLE puzzle from felt, so you probably already thought that the next session with fleece comes in a range of fairly soon? Anyway, best to you what I show you what I mean, and you decide if you want to try at home:
STEP 1: Create a simple BASE - PLATES Felt Need a larger piece of thick felt and attach it to a vertical surface (wardrobe, fridge, ...). Yes, it is so easy :) If you're short on space, the A3 format quite big enough. If you have more space, it is of course better if the "tabla" major. windows rt As for the thickness, I used the 3-millimeters thick felt, the same as the ones the snake felt about which I wrote at Green's house ... Will also 2-millimeter quite OK. How do I attach the easiest way? I use 2 tiny piece of self-adhesive Velcro fasteners, which I have glued on the door of one of the lower cabinets in the kitchen. Fully enough to have to stick to the ground from felt, and they can be removed when you need room for something else. (If you live in an apartment, really quickly you get used to the multi-functionality of each area, including the vertical, right?;)
STEP 2: Cut out the letters from the felt. The easiest way? If you ask me, this is what those 'naprbližn'. - I did not even try to stick to what the proposal, which I felt and cutting out with scissors promptly repaired. It is not perfect, there is also no need for this. As I said, this is for me to work best and fastest admit, however, that many people prefer to use a template. If you're among them, you may come in handy calf suggestions: http://www.dltk-teach.com/alphabuddies/marcysabcs.htm (after 2 letters per sheet) windows rt Themeasuredmom.com (in many sizes, but each in its Journal) Yescoloring.com (the letters are small, but all on one sheet)
No. 1 - the best solution: 1 to 1.5-mm felt that he treated so that it is no harder. 2 - backup solution: 3-mm thick FILC + self-adhesive Velcro As mentioned above, only works if it somehow added onto the felt board as a result of weight very often as he falls to the ground. I was in this rather disturbing therefore prefer to recommend the first solution (and even time-consuming it is to glue or even sew velcro on the case) ...
No. 3 - not good especially thin and soft felt (0.5 mm) only for taste, I used the thinnest of all types felt that I had on hand (0.5 mm), and although it is very pleasant to the touch, when letters REALLY not worked well: this is because very quickly deform when too little pull. See red O in the photo above - and then the image below, you'll notice that it knows at the first application - let alone after a few sessions. And it is a pity that the child had been tortured by the fact that each letter a little different, right?
If you already have something really thin felt at times, this can not in the basket! Excellent will be put to good use in the manufacture of fruit from felt, especially making some small pieces windows rt that require a soft, flexible material, such as here: my favorite 7 Instructions for vegetables and fruits from felt - this is my English blog, if you which wishes. windows rt As there is no end to all the possibilities offered by the felt, right? And it is, of course, much more! Maybe I'll windows rt do some harvesting long list of children's activities with felt ... soon.
