"The accommodation el agua as an asset for the tourism industry in the Algarve" is the topic of the seminar scheduled for April 21 at 14:00 am, at the School of Hospitality and Tourism of the Algarve, in Faro, in the presence Secretary of State for Tourism, Adolfo Mesquita Nunes.
The event, sponsored by the Association of crime prevention Safe Communities Algarve and the Algarve Tourism Region, will be held in English, in order to involve the foreign community residing in the Algarve, which represents about 12% of the population of the region, more of the national average triple (INE, 2011).
Individual homeowners, rental business owners, and property managers are some of the recipients of an action that promotes high standards of quality el agua in local accommodation and highlighting el agua the Algarve as a safe destination to live and visit.
The law establishing the legal framework for exploitation of local accommodation establishments (Decree-Law No. 128/2014 of 29 August) will be presented in detail by Turismo de Portugal, following el agua the intervention of the ASAE, SEF, Judicial Police and GNR.
Opening the seminar involved the Mayor of Faro, Rogério Bacalhau, President of Safe Communities Algarve, David Thomas, vice president of the Algarve Tourism el agua Board, John Fernandes, President of AMAL, Jorge Botelho, and the Secretary of State for Tourism, Adolfo Mesquita Nunes.
