You know you are an ultra runner when the schedule yours look like this ... 01/18/14: Spirit Half Marathon, Sola - Kick off for the hardcore runners in the Stavanger area. Race report here. 02/01/14: Thames Trot 50 miles - The plan was to use this race as a rekognoseringsløp for TP100, but the race itself was a slightly different experience than expected. Race report here.
Muddy hell! It does not come out as good on the picture, but the runners coming here "fixed" land again after running the water for the thighs. 05/04/14: Bergen Ultra (NM 100km) - I have realized that the probability of completing granger a 7+ hour workout increases significantly if one entered a race and this is the only ultra race in Norway before TP. 08/04/14: Hålandstunet water Half Marathon - Vegan Runners Stavanger move Tuesday granger workout from Mosvannet to Hålandstunet water this Tuesday. 03/05/14: Thames Path 100 miles - year goal race. 5/24/14: Suleskar Marathon - with a little modification, participation will depend on the recovery granger and loss situation for TP. Race report from 2013 here.
The goal at the time 3.32.00, Suleskar Marathon 2013 05/25/14: 7nutsløpet, 14km - if I am physically able to do so, it Suleskar Marathon and 7nutsløpet back to back this year too. 07.-08.06.14: Recce weekend Lysefjord. Stavanger gang from Rallarvegsløpet last reunited to reconnoiter the trail to the Lysefjord Inn (see below) 6/14/14: Bokn up / down, 8.6 mi - paced training Lysefjord Inn. 6/21/14: Lysefjord Inn, 62 km - From Oanes to lysebotn. granger This is probably the race I'm most looking forward to, and I have managed to lure Noel from Vegan Runners UK to sign up.
First staged in 2013 03.08.14: Vanguard Way Marathon? - Now I can the way. With a small modification that I can afford four trips to the UK this year, and that I find someone to fit cat brushes. The organizers promise a number track guards and more signs than last year. Race report from 2013 here. 09/06/14: Telemark's toughest terrain in NM ultra (unofficially), 82 km

December: Endurance Life CTS Dorset Marathon / Ultra - It just feels wrong to not be participating in any of the races 2013/2014 series. As soon as the dates for the next series is published, I'm going to sign up for this course.
