I've been following Doctor Oz for quite some time now. I used to like his show but he keeps on telling people that there are magic pills to weight loss. In 1 year alone, he said that you could lose weight if you drink Garcinia Cambogia, Forskolin, Raspberry Ketones, Green Coffee Bean Extract, etc... Finally, a senator calls him up on his BS. Here's the video:
It's amazing streamingdb the marketing power of his show. Massive opportunity for the show to collude with manu's of supplements. Of course this would have to be done without the public knowledge to preserve his trust and brand equity.
Click to expand... Insane amounts of money have been made by piggybacking off of the Dr. Oz effect. Basically streamingdb people would watch the show and wait for him to start pumping a certain "miracle" pill. Immediately after the pill has been pumped to the masses, people contact a supplier then rush to throw it up for sale online along with some amazing copywriting. The Dr. Oz effect is what pulls the traffic towards the product and the copywriting is what converts the prospect into a buyer with the calls to action. streamingdb I may be wrong in this assumption, but the problem streamingdb I see with doing this is that it's very difficult streamingdb to cash out and sell your company because all you're doing is piggybacking from one fad to the next. Don't get me wrong, you can probably make a ton of money doing this but meh. Constantly jumping from one fad to the next isn't fun to me. Since I'm planning on living forever, I'd prefer to have something that's sustainable long term. I know it's totally unsexy to a lot of you guys, but I love real estate!
