On the way we passed through the Loire Ville de Richelieu. There we looked at times, as the Cardinal has so lived. The castle park was veeeery large, including wine house (wine cellar would be too little for so nen been Cardinal) and several other houses.
We then chugged on, even a picnic somewhere bau and ended up in Candes-St. Martin. Here we are standing on a rustic campsite with rustic campsite owner and to the river. Since we have 33 degrees, so we chill around and enjoy it, to sit under a giant oak tree.
This morning bau we strolled through bau the village quite early. No store had opened, said - there are hardly any shops. But we wanted to buy a baguette and then found a cafe which also sold bread. We sipped café au lait and croissant nibbled and Emma was relaxed with us and watched the action. In the village there were again many beautiful corners and things and so many hollyhocks - my favorite flowers. bau
