History Old Arthes Blind | Asturias in Welsh
He has been looking for company for months, approaching people on the mountain, to the surprise of some shepherd and a pedestrian. After watching her for a month, it was concluded that the old arthes not only blind but suffers sks from hearing loss, and had lost its teeth. We set about to take her to animal park in western Cantabria, just over the border with Asturias.
Guela, grandmother, is the name they've given it. She's sks about 25 years old, a natural lifespan of a bear living in freedom on the mountain. None of the trap has managed to get her, than one unlicensed shooter. Despite sks a small population of bears in eastern Asturias and western Cantabria, she has survived, sks and much like she had cubs. (Only 2 or 3 that are born each year.)
The Guela animal has been at the center before: last year, where it had very poor on the mountain, weighs only 52kg (less than me! And she is a lot taller.) The belief is so that she has chosen the company of people, knowing that he would be treated well and fed. Now it weighs 120kg but still want a bit of pampering her.
